Watt Analytics GmbH

Our Electric Meters iWattMeter & SmartPI

are inteligent energy meters.

Optimized for specific applications, reliable and exact.

The iWattMeter

electric power meter iWattMeter

The iWattMeter provides precise measurements of power consumption at an attractive price. It can be used in private homes and companies and ensures a relatively short payback period.

The iWattMeter is an intelligent electric power meter that records your current power consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh). Thus, you get your total power consumption in real time and to the second.

The iWattMeter is delivered including all necessary current transformers and connecting cables.

Here you can download the installation instructions and EU Declaration of conformity (CE Certificate).

Supports 50 Hz or 60 Hz networks with current measurement up to 100A and voltage measurement from 110V to 400V.

Supports standards EN 50470-1, EN 50470-3, IEC 62053-21, IEC 62053-22 and IEC 62053-23.

Compatible with 3-phase, 3 or 4-wire meters (Delta or Wye) and other 3-phase services.

Provides the total (fundamental and harmonic) active, reactive and apparent power as well as basic effective / reactive energy in each phase and in the whole system. Detects phase order.

Collects high-precision real-time properties with 1% error (typical) in active and reactive energy over a dynamic range of 3000 to 1 at TA = 25 °C.

Sends the measured characteristics at least 4 times per second using the MQTT protocol

Can be installed on the DIN rail.

The SmartPI

electric power meter SmartPI

Do you use a PV plant for the production of own electricity? Do you consume night electricity for your electric heater or your water boiler? The SmartPI is the ideal meter for private homes and companies who want to produce individual current, e.g. via a PV system, and wish to control as well as make optimal use of the self-produced electricity.

The SmartPI is equipped with built-in software that records total power consumption as well as power generation.

The SmartPI is delivered including all necessary current transformers and connecting cables.

Here you learn more about installing the SmartPI.

Setting up SD card for SmartPi:

CAUTION: all data on the SmartPi will be deleted! Please backup them upfron if necessary.

First of all, you need to download the latest version of SmartPi image from link below (~4.41 GB): http://files.watt-analytics.com/wa-pi-1.9.5.dmg.zip

When download is finished, extract the zip file somewhere on your hard drive.

Copy the image to SD Card:

(Min. 16GB SD Card required)

Insert the SD Card into your SmartPi
